More Than an Exhibit — A Movement to Humanize History

Lives Eliminated, Dreams Illuminated (LEDI) is an immersive multimedia exhibit and education initiative that restores the humanity of 23 Jewish women and girls murdered in the Holocaust—and honors the one survivor who lived to share her story.

Through art, music, animation, storytelling, and guided dialogue, LEDI invites visitors and students of all ages to connect with history not as distant tragedy, but as the lived experiences of real people with dreams, talents, and futures.

The goal is simple and profound: that people leave judging less, hating less, and choosing compassion in all aspects of life.

A Crisis of Understanding - an Opportunity for Change

Holocaust knowledge among young people is declining, while antisemitism, racism, and identity-based hatred continue to rise.

Educators report a growing gap between the importance of teaching this history and the tools available to do so in ways that resonate with today’s students.

LEDI was created to meet this moment.
